Enugu Catholic Diocese declares one week of prayer over “desecration of holy altar of sacrifice by Father Mbaka’s followers”

Enugu Catholic Diocese has declared one week of prayer for atonement and reparation over the “desecration of the holy altar of sacrifice by Father Mbaka’s followers”.

The declaration was made in a circular signed by Catholic Bishop of Enugu state, V.G Onaga. The Bishop said the prayer will begin from Friday May 7 and end on Friday May 14.

Asides the desecration of the holy altar of sacrifice, Onaga also alleged that his residence, the cathedral parish house and the secretariat building complex were vandalized by the cleric’s followers.
