Turkish Fantasy — Tips for Gameweek 28

A new fantasy stud is blossoming in Istanbul and will be headlining many teams from now on.

Find out what are the next best options for this game week.

Below you’ll find the crème de la crème of this week’s fantasy studs, provided to you by the masterminds behind Fantezi Futbol Türkiye.

Flash Players

Altay Bayındır (Fenerbahçe, Goalkeeper)

According to the Transfermarkt data, Fenerbahçe’s most expensive player is the goalkeeper Altay Bayındır. His impressive performances this season also got the attention of the clubs from the major leagues of Europe. He has 8 clean sheets in total of 2.250 minutes with 66 saves including 2 penalty saves. Fenerbahçe is playing against Antalyaspor who are not a productive team on attacking side. Altay Bayındır is very close to another clean sheet.

Vitor Hugo (Trabzonspor, Defender)

Expectations were very high when Vitor Hugo was transferred by Fiorentina from Palmeiras for 8 million euros almost 3,5 years ago. After his Fiorentina adventure, he joined Trabzonspor this season. His performance was significantly increased after Abdullah Avcı was appointed as the new coach of Trabzonspor. His performance was one of the main factors of Trabzonspor’s conceding only 10 goals in last 18 games. Vitor Hugo also scored 2 goals in Turkish Süper Lig. We recommend him as a suitable pick against Kasımpaşa this week.

Dimitrios Pelkas (Fenerbahçe, Midfielder)

Dimitrios Pelkas has been showing inconsistent performances so far this season. Coach Erol Bulut tried him in different positions on the attacking line. He made a good start, however he had some injury and performance problems. He has 5 goals & 5 assists this season and scored a very important goal last week against Trabzonspor. Pelkas gave a signal that he will perform better in the following days. He might be a suitable pick against Antalyaspor this week.

Mostafa Mohamed (Galatasaray, Forward)

Galatasaray hit the target by the transfer of Mostafa Mohamed in January transfer window. Fatih Terim didn’t get a consistent contribution from his forward options in the team. However, Mohamed made an impressive start with 4 goals in 4 games in the league and 2 goals in 2 games in Turkish cup. They are going to play against Ankaragücü who are at the bottom of the table. Mostafa Mohamed is most likely to pursue his good form against Ankaragücü this week.

Pedro Henrique (Kayserispor, Midfielder)

Pedro Henrique couldn’t meet the expectations this season due to injury problems. He has played only 1.253 minutes so far. He is the most skillful player of his team. Kayserispor couldn’t win any game since January. This week they’ll play against a reasonable opponent at home. Pedro Henrique might make a fresh start for the season in Çaykur Rizespor game.

Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor’s 11 games of unbeaten run had come to an end with Fenerbahçe game. They had their second lost in last 18 games. They will play against Kasımpaşa who have 4 missing players from starting eleven this week. Considering their strong goal and defensive line, it seems suitable to make the clean sheet candidate picks from Trabzonspor. Alongside the defensive picks like Uğurcan Çakır, Vitor Hugo and Serkan Asan, it is also good to pick one/some of Anastasios Bakasetas, Anthony Nwakaeme and Caleb Ekuban.

Galatasaray

Galatasaray is topping the table with 57 points in 26 games. They are the least goals (19 goals) conceded team in Turkish Süper Lig. Alongside this defensive stat, they are also at the second place in most goalscoring teams ranking. The top picks from Galatasaray should be Fernando Muslera and Mostafa Mohamed. After these 2 players, you might also pick Henry Onyekuru, Emre Kılınç, Arda Turan and DeAndre Yedlin. We expect an easy win for Galatasaray.
