Peter Obi who is the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has formally submitted a petition before the Presidential election tribunal as he contests the outcome of the February 28, 2023, presidential election.

The chief Spokesman of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign of the Labour Party, Dr. Yunusa disclosed this when he appeared on Arise TV this morning March 21.

‘’I can tell you categorically that we have submitted and filed our case against the election that took place on the 25th of February and this is official.”

On whether the party was able to inspect all the Bimodal Voters Accreditation Systems BVAS used during the election which is needed to prosecute their case, Tanko said

‘’No, but INEC was able to give us the summary result sheet of what was pronounced on that day. The lawyers have made it clear that we will get all that we can get from INEC and we will demand for the remaining document that is required for the legal team to prosecute its case”
