Samuel Kalu is a major doubt for the Super Eagles 2021 AFCON qualifiers after going off injured in Bordeaux’s 3-1 win at Dijon on Sunday.
Bordeaux confirmed Kalu’s injury in a Tweet on their verified Twitter handle during the game.
Kalu was replaced just 16 minutes of the game by Nicolas de Preville.
He was included in Super Eagles’ 24-man squad for the qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho this month.
Prior to Sunday’s win, Bordeaux had lost seven and drawn one of their last eight games.
They are now 11th on 36 points in the Ligue 1 table.
