The Squirrels of Benin coach, Michel Dussuyer has vowed to give the Super Eagles a run for their money when both clash in Saturday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Porto-Novo.
Dussuyer made this known during an interview with a Lagos-based radio station, where he lauded the array of stars in the Super Eagles squad and promised that his team won’t be intimidated by it.
He also revealed that his team will do everything possible to ensure that they pick the maximum points on Saturday.
“It’s a great match, we have many respects for this team of Nigeria because it’s a big team in Africa and we know what’s the danger, they have very good strikers and technically they are very strong, so we expect a tough game and we will do our best to create problem to this team and do get a good result.”
Nigeria are top of Group L on eight points while Benin sit second on seven points with both West African countries desperate for the points.
