Euro 2020: Bale Dismisses Retirement Rumour

Wales forward, Gareth Bale has debunked rumours circulating on social media that Euro 2020 will be his last tournament before retiring.

Bale, who set up Aaron Ramsey for the team’s opening goal, had the opportunity to extend the lead in the 61st minute but blasted his penalty away in their 2-0 victory over Turkey.

However, the Tottenham star made amends for his error when he assisted Connor Roberts to net the second goal in the 95th minute.

Speaking immediately after the game, Bale stated that he doesn’t consider retiring after Euro 2020.
