The Nigeria Police have paraded the 54-year-old fiancé of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officer who was killed and buried in a shallow grave in Benue state

It was earlier reported by LIB that Josephine Cynthia Inalegwu Onche, who was serving at an NSCDC post in the Otukpo, was declared missing a few days to her wedding to fiance, Christopher in December 2019.

Christopher was paraded on Wednesday, June 16, in Abuja alongside 35 other suspects arrested for armed robbery, kidnapping, rape, unlawful possession of prohibited firearms, cattle rustling, receiving of stolen items and car theft.

Briefing newsmen, the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, said late Onche,45, was in a relationship with Christopher, who had professed love and promised to marry her.

“In the course of the relationship, several financial transactions took place and it is believed that Onche had handed over a large chunk of money to her lover,” he stated.
