Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be set to make a decision on his future after his Portugal side were eliminated by Belgium in the round of 16.
The 36-year-old Portuguese striker came under scrutiny last season after his club almost missed out on Champions League qualification. But that didn’t stop CR7 from topping the Serie A goalscoring charts with 29 goals in 33 appearances, as well as helping his team win both the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
With the Italian club waiting for him to make a decision on his future, both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are interested in his signature.
According to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, Ronaldo will tell Juventus his intentions this week, given he is in the final year of his deal, while PSG and Manchester United wait in the wings.
The Italian newspaper’s headline on Tuesday June 29 said: ‘Ronaldo: between Max [Allegri] and the Sheikh,’ referencing PSG owner Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
