Nigerian Community Turkey Lifts Ban on Electioneering Campaign 16th July

The Nigerian Community Turkey says they will lift the ban on campaign owing to the upcoming election slated for the 28th August, 2021 for intending members to assume duty for another term in office.

The constitutional governing body chairman of NICOT, Mr. Ariwodo Henry gave this statement recently at his office where he informed that as from Today 16th July, 2021 interested candidates with declaration of interest can commence campaign according to regulations guiding NICOT electioneering process.

Mr. Ariwodo went further to say that the body vested with the responsibility for constitutional matters in NICOT concluded on this decision and gave the information noting that the community is ready to carry out free, fair and credible elections. He added that it’s prepared to swear-in elected members into office to serve in various positions.

He however called on all members of NICOT  with genuine desire to move the community forward to willingly make themselves available for selfless service to members of Nigerian Community by picking up the nomination form and via for positions the deem fit.

Meanwhile, Prince Magboh who is currently the leader of the Nigerian Community Turkey has declared his intent to re-contest for the number one position of the community and revealed that he is gearing up to also commence campaign soon.
