42-cannon salutes Announces the Demise of Sir Hyacith Adindu Madu Onyeodi at 95

42 cannon salute have been performed to announce the death of an “Iroko” late Sir Hyacith Adindu Madu Onyeodi (De Aguiyi –I) of Ezuhu Na Amadi autonomous community of Nguru Nweke in Aboh Mbaise local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria.

The family of Nathaniel Ndubuisi Adindu and Chief Emmanuel Jolly Adindu Madu (De Chief Ochicha) stated that their father died at the ripe age of 95-years and the 42-cannon salute was heralded shortly after confirmation of father’s death.

They thanked God for the life well spent of their father and re-iterated the family’s (him and his siblings) resolve to give him a befitting burial despite financial challenges caused by the pandemic.

The family added that late Sir Hyacinth Adindu Madu was survived by his wife, children, grand-children, brothers, sisters and other relatives. He informed that the remains of his father had since been deposited in the morgue and the date of the burial will be communicated soon.
