2021 NICOT Elections: Prince Magboh flags off Campaign •Says, His Re-election Will Guarantee Stability, Progress



Owing to the genuine desire to better the welfare of Nigerians living in Turkey, the incumbent President of Nigerian Community Turkey, Prince Emre Magboh has evidently expressed his egalitarian interest  to re-contest for the apex seat, for another term in office.

The detribalized Nigerian, Prince Magboh stated this during a chat with our reporter at his office in Perpa Ticaret Merkezi, Istanbul, where he announced the kick-off of his campaign to be re-elected into office as the community’s President come 28th August, 2021.

At the flag off ceremony, the NICOT incumbent President, gave account of stewardship to Nigerians in Turkey, citing the enormous gain towards achieving an improved welfare of all Nigerians living in Turkey through his selfless services.

The ever listening leader of Nigerians in Turkey revealed that his open door policy and inclusive leadership to all Nigerians gave room for transparency, accountability, good and cordial relationship between the community and Turkish authorities, as well as the initiative of adopting the one-month covering note which is recognized by the Turkish authorities and the issuance of police report to aid those with cases of lost passport for retrieval at the Embassy in Ankara.


The People’s leader enumerated that the community has established a close relationship with the Nigerian Embassy in Ankara, and assured that leadership under his watch will continue to work in synergy to deliver quality leadership.

 Prince Magboh called for the support of all Nigerians, reassuring that if re-elected into office, his tenure will maintain the actualized peace and tranquility among Nigerians in Turkey so as to foster more developmental strides to better the general wellbeing of Nigerians in Turkey.

According to him, “Truthfully, all we are doing is to give great service to better the welfare of Nigerians in Turkey by bringing them together to have a voice and platform.
As the saying goes, “united we stand, divided we fall”, I have devoted myself and resources to maintain our long standing relationship with Turkey by abiding to the laws of Turkey, maintaining the already actualized unity and peace among Nigerians in Turkey”. He concluded.
