Super Eagles of Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa was on target for his side Fatih Karagümrük on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
The 29-year-old was given a rare start for Fatih Karagümrük by head coach Felipe Sanchez Mateos in a Turkish Cup fixture against lower League outfit Sariyer.
The Turkish Super Lig side took the lead as early as the 23rd minute through Bosnia and Herzegovina center-back Ervin Zukanovic.
That was the only goal scored in the first half as Fatih Karagümrük went into the halftime break with a one-goal lead.
In the second half, Musa doubled the lead for Karagümrük in the 66th minute.
The former Kano Pillars man took to his official Instagram account to show off finding the back of the net once again.
Musa’s shot cannoned off the crossbar past the goal line to give Fatih Karagümrük a two-goal cushion.
That was the final strike of the game as Fatih Karagümrük held on for the victory and progressed to the second round of the Turkey Cup.
That is Musa’s second goal for Fatih Karagümrük in a total of 13 appearances for the Turkish side since he joined from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Kano Pillars
