Osimhen: Super Eagles striker breaks silence, returns to training

Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has finally taken to social media after almost a month of silence.

The 23-year-old suffered an injury playing for Napoli against Inter Milan in an Italian Serie A fixture back in November.

The injury occurred in the 55th minute when Osimhen clashed heads with Slovakian defender Milan Škriniar.

The collision resulted to a double fracture on his cheekbone and eye socket with experts ruling him out of the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Osimhen since then took a break on social media as he began his recovery process.

However, over the last 24 hours, Osimhen has taken to social media twice. First, he posted a picture with a caption that said, “Certainly Not Built To Fail.”

Osimhen will continue his recovery process from the injury with his social media accounts now active.
