Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa donates N2m to Atlanta 96 gold medalist turned taxi driver, Kingsley Obiekwu

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has donated two million naira to former international footballer Kingsley Obiekwu

Obiekwu, a member of the Atlanta ’96 Olympics Golden Dream Team, was seen working as a taxi driver in Enugu and this information was shared online.

Obiekwu said in an earlier interview that he uses his only car for commercial transport to sustain his family.

Ahmed Musa got wind of Obiekwu’s predicament and has supported him with the sum of N2 million.

Obiekwu played for Rangers International FC, Enugu and Udoji United in his days.

He attributed his financial difficulties to debts owed him by several clubs.

Obiekwu has confirmed the alert & cash support from Musa.
