NICOT PRESIDENT JOINS CHRISTIANS TO CELEBRATE 2022 EASTER, PREACHES PEACE

President of the Nigerian Community Turkey, Prince Emre Magboh has joined Christian faithful across the globe to celebrate the 2022 Easter celebrations.

According to the Christian Doctrine, Easter symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which comes forth 40 days after the Lenten season of the crucifixion and death of Christ, many centuries ago.

In his Easter message, the community leader cum business mogul, through the theme, “Emphasis of Christ after the Cross”, stated that we have every reason to be joyous because Christ has remained the bedrock of our salvation and the redeemer of our faith.

Prince Magboh admonished Christians all over the world to uphold the basis of God’s love through his son Jesus Christ, and eschew the traits which may lead to sin.

He hammered on being steadfast in the teachings and things of God, so as to be more connected to the heavenly Father.

Speaking to a cross section of Nigerians on Easter Sunday during a meeting, Prince Magboh told them to always show the virtues of a good Christian which are the basic principles to propagate the good news of Jesus Christ in the society.

He pointed out that with the beginning of lent and celebration of His resurrection, a keen reminder of the perseverance and endurance of the burden of our sins that Christ took to the Cross as he encouraged all Christians to imbibe his teachings in our daily lives.

Prince Magboh further urged Christians to increase love for one another rather than hatred, and to exhibit patriotism for our nation Nigeria wherever we find ourselves as he called on everyone to consistently pray for peace and security as the 2023 general election approaches.
