President Buhari on Tuesday, May 31st, met with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting comes ahead of the special convention to elect a standard-bearer for the ruling party ahead of the 2023 polls.
The convention will be held between June 6 and 8.
Abdullahi Adamu, APC national chairman; Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF); and Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to the president, were present at the meeting. After the meeting, neither the APC national chairman nor the governors spoke with journalists.
