Nigeria’s Falconets have completed their Group C campaign at the ongoing U-20 Women’s World Cup with a 3-1 win over Canada.

The Falconets rounded off their group stage campaign in style on Thursday morning, August 18, at the Estadio Alajuela Morera Soto.

Two goals from the penalty spot by Esther Onyenezide and another goal in the second half by Chioma Olise saw the Falconets record their biggest win in the tournament in Costa Rica.

The feat enabled them to finish with nine points in Group C.

The Falconets will now take on The Netherlands in their quarter-final clash in Alajuela on Monday August 22.
