Lawsuit filed to stop Obidients rally in Lagos as Peter Obi visits ex-president Goodluck Jonathan

A lawsuit has been filed the stop a rally by Obidients (supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi) in Lagos.

The 8th President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Barr. Abdul Mahmud said the lawsuit is being heard by Justice Osiagor of the federal high court in Lagos, Peter Obi, Labour Party and some influencers are defendants.

Mahmud tweeted;

“Suit to stop the planned Obidient rally in Lagos is being heard by Justice Osiagor, Fed High Court, Lagos. Obi, LP and some influencers are defendants. Plaintiffs’ SAN moved his application but was asked by the Court to put the defendants on notice. Adjourned to 23-09-22”.

Meanwhile The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, visited former president, Goodluck Jonathan, today September 15.

Obi who shared photos from the visit on his official page, said he had a meeting with Jonathan on ”serious national interest questions.”

“I recently visited my senior brother, H.E. @GEJonathan to exchange views on an array of serious national interest questions,” he wrote.
