COVID-19 contractors protest in Abuja

Some contractors who reportedly supplied COVID-19 medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), are leading a proest in the Abuja over non-payment of the money they’re being owed since 2019.

The Nation reported that the protest which took off today, October 17, is still ongoing.

The contractors reportedly blocked the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from gaining access to the FCTA secretariat.
