Fuel Scarcity: DSS gives dealers 48 hours to stop scarcity or face FG’s wrath

The Department of State Services DSS has ordered all the entities in Nigeria involved in the distribution process to work towards ending the lingering fuel scarcity within 48 hours or face the wrath of the government.

The DSS gave the directive after a meeting between the security agency and all the stakeholders in the petrol supply chain at the DSS headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, December 8.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, the spokesman for the DSS, Dr.Peter Afunanya, said the agency would take steps to deal with elements who try to use artificial fuel scarcity to threaten national security.
