Update: Police parade officer who assaulted man in Port Harcourt

The Nigeria Police Force has paraded an officer who assaulted a man in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, alongside two of his colleagues.

A video showing the officer slapping and flogging the yet-to-be-identified man went viral a few days ago.

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Monday, April 10, disclosed that the officers have been arrested and would be at the force headquarters in Abuja today April 11.

In an update shared on his Twitter handle this evening, Adejobi gave the names of the erring officers as Inspector Adejoh Siaka; Inspector Friday Obaka, and Sgt. Ndiwa Kpuebari. He said their trial will commence soon.
