Super Falcons Captain to be the oldest player at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand

Super Falcons Captain, Onome Ebi is set to be the oldest player at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand at the age of 40.

Onome, who is currently in Australia with the Super Falcons squad for the tournament starting on July 20, will also become the first African Footballer to feature in 6 FIFA World Cup Tournaments.

The defender, who now plays for Nigerian club Abia Angels previously represented the Super Falcons in five FIFA World Cups, following her appearances at the 2003,2007,2011,2015, and 2019 editions of the tournament.
