Troops arrest notorious terrorists’ gunrunner with N31m cash in Niger Republic

Nigerien troops have successfully apprehended notorious terrorist gunrunner, Ahmed Acharif, with 31 million Naira cash in Garin Dogo, Niger Republic.

Phantom Eye, an intelligence and security source, with special interest on Lake Chad and North East Nigeria, disclosed this in a statement posted on X on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

According to the statement, the suspect was arrested on February 12, 2024.

The cash was payment for arms and ammunition sold to terrorists in Arge, Lake Chad.
