Nigerian striker Chukwudi Igbokwe Joins Portuguese Club Rio Ave

Nigerian forward Chukwudi Igbokwe has secured a transfer to the Portuguese Primera League side Rio Ave on a 2-year deal.

The 22-year-old attacker played for the Belgian Jupiler League side KAA Gent last season and left the club following the expiration of his contract with the club.

” Rio Ave Futebol Clube – Futebol, SAD reached an agreement with athlete Chukwudi Igbokwe to sign a contract valid until June 2026.”, the statement stated.

Before he left Nigeria, Igbokwe played for the U23 national team.
