Flying Eagles reportedly beg NFF over unpaid bonuses and allowances

Flying Eagles players have reportedly cried out over unpaid bonuses and allowances due to them.

The Eagles secured a place in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship following a 3-1 victory over the Niger Republic on Sunday night and will also compete at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations following the victory over the Young Mena but are being allegedly owed their allowances and salaries according to a new report

“We are not happy with what his happening here in Lome. We are yet to receive a dime as camp allowance right from where we started preparation for the competition,” An insider told Completesports.
“They are not even talking about winning bonuses and allowances. Nobody has told us anything about our money.

“The sad thing is that bonuses and allowances from the last U-20 AFCON in Egypt and the World Cup in Argentina were not fully paid.

“The biggest inspiration for the players is the donations from some well-meaning Nigerians which is around N20m at the moment.

“We just hope the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will do the right thing by paying us.”

The Flying Eagles will take on Black Satellites of Ghana in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship on Wednesday.
