Atalanta are demanding around €50 million for their star winger, Ademola Lookman, amid interest from Serie A champions Napoli.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on bringing the Nigerian international to Naples this summer. However, the hefty price tag could prove a stumbling block for the deal.
According to Football Italia, Napoli consider the fee significant, especially as Lookman, 27, is edging closer to 30 than 25. The club may propose a player-plus-cash deal, but Atalanta are focused on maximizing profit from the sale.
Lookman impressed last season with 20 goals and seven assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. The previous season, he also delivered a strong performance with 17 goals and 10 assists.
