Juventus in race to sign Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi

Italian giant, Juventus has joined the race to sign Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, from Leicester City following their relegation to the Championship from the Premier League.

A clause in his contract stipulated that he could go for as little as 10.5 Million Euros.

Transfer Expert Ben Jacobs has reported that 36-time Italian champions Juventus have now joined the likes of Manchester United, Real Betis, and Everton for the defensive midfielder.

It was gathered that Manchester United are planning to replace Casemiro with the 28-year-old Nigerian.

The 28-year-old, who has spent the past eight-and-a-half years with Leicester, is also attracting interest and is also open to the idea of moving to the Saudi Pro League this summer.

It is understood that Ndidi is available for a fee just shy of €10.5m (£8m) due to a relegation clause in the player’s contract.

Ndidi has made 303 appearances for Leicester over the last nine seasons, including 220 in the Premier League.

He was part of the squad for the club’s first-ever FA Cup victory in 2020/21 and the Community Shield that followed later in the same year.
