Ramazan Bayrami: NICOT President Felicitates With Muslims •Charges  Muslims to Pray for Nigeria’s Security And 2023 Election

The Nigerian Community Turkey, has congratulated all Muslim brothers and sisters globally as they celebrate the 2022 Ramazan Bayrami (Eid-il-Fitr in Nigeria) celebration.

In a release by the office of the NICOT President on 1st May, 2022, the President of the Nigerian community, Prince Emre Magboh who is far away in the United States of America noted that Ramadan Bayrami on the Islamic calendar is a period when Muslim faithful celebrate the end of Ramadan (only Islamic calendar).

He pointed out that the celebration is characterized by People attending Eid prayers on the morning of the first of Shawwal as in other lands, and they will often wear new clothes, give small gifts to children, visit friends and relatives, send Eid greeting cards, and indulge in large family feasts.

While extending heartwarming felicitations to his Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria, Prince Magboh urged Muslim faithful to always remember the country Nigeria and her people in their prayers, owing to the increased insecurity situation in the country and the upcoming 2023 General election.

He charged all Nigerians to be patriotic and courageous, adding that by being law abiding citizens through the spirit of love, self-discipline, tolerance and kindness as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), the battle against resurging insecurity and activities of criminal elements in Nigeria will be extinguished.

According to him, “I felicitate with my Muslim brothers and sisters across the world for this year’s Ramazan Bayrami also called candy festival (Seker Bayrami).

“As you celebrate and offer prayers to Almighty Allah, we join you in prayers for an end to the security situation in our country Nigeria and 2023 general election.

“I wish you all a successful Ramazan Bayrami. We look forward to a subsequent Bayrami later in the year”, Prince Magboh concluded.
