U-17 AFCON: I’m Not Worried About Facing Nigeria, Algeria, Congo – Tanzania Coach, Salehe

Tanzania U-17 National Football team coach, Maalim Salehe says he’s optimistic his boys will progress through the group stages of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Serengeti Boys are in Group B alongside Nigeria, Algeria, and Congo.

Despite facing the big task of qualifying the team from a difficult group, Salehe told Brila.net that he’s not worried about the teams in their group.

He said that the team’s discipline will play a key role in propelling them to qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

“Talking about our group, our group is very tough there are Nigeria, Algeria, and Congo. Those three teams are very tough and I know they always come to this competition. We need discipline more and more discipline. To those teams, it is very important and I know it will be very tough but we prepare a lot for this competition.”
