Zamfara government secures release of 10 kidnap victims

10 kidnap victims who have been in captivity for over three months and two weeks, have regained their freedom following the intervention of the Zamfara state government. 

The victims were abducted in Gwaram community of Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state. They include three men, including the father of one of the abducted Jangebe School Girls, four women and three children.

Zamfara state’s commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Abubakar Dauran said they were rescued without ransom through the peace initiative of Governor Matawalle’s administration.
