I’ll leave a safer Nigeria – Buhari reassures Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to leave a safer country before he bows out in 2023.

Speaking during the Emblem Appeal Launch for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday, November 16, the president also announced a N10 million donation towards the appeal fund.

He called on all Nigerians, as well as corporate organisations, to support veterans and families of the fallen heroes, whose past sacrifices have kept the country together.

Commending the nation’s Armed Forces for their efforts at making the country safer, he assured the military of his administration’s continued support and needed funding for them to continue in their efforts.
