Abducted Edo train passengers freed – NRC

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced that all abducted passengers at the Chief Tom Ikimi Railway Station Ekehen, in Igueben, Edo State have been released.

The announcement was made by NRC’s Deputy Director of Public Relations Mahmood Yakub.

He said the kidnapped persons have been released to their families and none of them was hurt or injured during their period of captivity and release.

The NRC Board and Management also appreciated the role, patience and cooperation of the families of the victims and appreciated the roles played by the security agencies, State Government and those who contributed to the release of the victims.
