Ayu, Okowa, other PDP members to engage in ‘black uniform’ protest at INEC headquarters today

In a bid to express their dissatisfaction over the outcome of the February 25, 2023, presidential elections, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked its members to join a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja today March 6.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on Wednesday, March 1, declared Bola Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the election.PDP and some other parties have kicked against the result saying INEC wasn’t transparent as the election was flawed. They particularly kicked against the non-use of the Bimodal VotersAccreditation System BVAS in many polling units.

PDP rejected the declaration of Tinubu as the president-elect, saying Atiku won the election.

In a notice by Ibrahim Bashir, director of admin, Atiku campaign council, the party informed its members that the protest would take off from the Legacy House in the Maitama area by 10 am.
