AFCON: Nigeria to face Cameroon in Round of 16 on Saturday

Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Saturday in the Round of 16 at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The fixture was confirmed after Cameroon secured a win in their last Group game against Gambia on Tuesday to displace Guinea and finish runners-up in Group C.

Cameroon scored two late goals to defeat the Gambia 3-2 in their final group game at the Stade de Bouaké on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles had qualified on Monday for the round of 16 after defeating Guinea Bissau 1-0 to finish as runners-up in Group A.

The Round of 16 clash will be played on Saturday, January, 27, at 9 pm.
