Femi Falana accompanies Joe Ajaero to police headquarters, returns to NLC headquarters

Human Rights activist Femi Falana, SAN, Deji Adeyanju and other lawyers accompanied the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, President, Joe Ajaero to the Police Force headquarters for questioning over allegations of terrorism financing among others.

The Labour movement had mobilized its members to accompany Ajaero to the Police headquarters in solidarity. However, Falana, who is the NLC lawyer, told the workers to stay behind at the Labour House to avoid a rowdy session at the Police headquarters.

He assured that the situation would be handled well with the lawyers from his Chambers among others in the entourage.

Meanwhile, NLC boss returns to NLC headquarters after honoring police invitation
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, has just been released after he visited the Headquarters of the Intelligence Response Team today August 29.

Last week, the police invited Ajaero to the IRT Headquarters to answer questions on his alleged involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.

The NLC president failed to honour the invitation and rescheduled for today. He entered the premises on Thursday at exactly 10:17 am alongside Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and other senior officials of the NLC.

IRT is the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigeria Police Force.
