Just In: Reasons for Iheanacho’s late Arrival to Super Eagles Camp Ahead Benin, Lesotho AFCON Qualifiers

Leicester City in-form striker Kelechi Iheanacho has arrived the Super Eagles camp, ahead of their 2021 AFCON Qualifiers double-header against Benin Republic and Lesotho.

Iheanacho who arrived the team’s camp this morning, was confirmed on the Super Eagles verified Twitter handle.

This means all 24 players invited for the qualifiers are now in camp for the two games.

Media officer of the team Babafemi Raji had disclosed that Iheanacho would join his colleagues on Wednesday morning.

He said his late arrival was due to mixup in his flight itinerary.

Meanwhile the team will have one training session today as preparations continue for this weekend’s game.

They will travel to Cotonou on Friday for their match day five tie with Benin Republic in Porto Novo.
