IPOB on Saturday announced the suspension of the sit-at-home order saying it should only be done on a day Kanu would be appearing in court.

However, photos being shared on social media shows Main Market, banks, parks, filling stations, shutdown in Onitsha and Umuahia cities.

Also major roads leading to Main Market Onitsha such as Old Market, New Market, Venn Roads were deserted.

Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by the DSS in June and is under trial for treason, possession of arms and formation of an unlawful entity.
