Victor Umeh dumps APGA, defects to Labour Party

Former National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Senator Victor Umeh has defected to the Labour Party, LP, after being denied the ticket of APGA to vie for the Anambra Central senatorial seat for the 2023 general elections.

A disappointed Umeh defected to the Labour party today June 3rd and is expected to fly the flag of the party in the Anambra Central Senatorial district.

His defection comes barely a week after the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and moved to the Labour party where he won the presidential election.
