Divine Skyhope Foundation doles out food items to JONAPD, promises to offer essential services to members

A vanguard of change under the aegis of “Divine Skyhope Foundation” a non-profit, non-governmental Organization owned and founded by the Chief Executive Officer, of Afaseh Group of company, D&D Bosphorus Hotels & Suites who doubles as the President of Nigerian Community Turkey.

A Divine Skyhope Foundation team on the 12th of May 2023 met with persons living with disabilities under the umbrella of the JONAPD Enugu branch (joint national of persons living with disabilities) in the capital city of Enugu State.

Speaking, one of the spokespersons of Divine Skyhope Foundation, Barrister Chizoba Sandra Agbo said that the foundation is making its first outing after the inauguration of members and trustee of the foundation recently to meet with physically challenged persons in the state.

She expressed the Divine Skyhope Foundation’s joy for JONAPD as they are the first beneficiary in the state from the foundation and promised to provide essential legal service and support to members of the community.

Adding his voice, a member of the Divine Skyhope Foundation team who spoke revealed the foundation was borne out of genuine interest to be a vanguard of change in society as he preached against discriminatory attitudes or comments towards persons living with a disability.

He further stated that the foundation will assist members of the JONAPD community to establish their chosen career, trade, offer essential legal services to help militate against the injustice meted on them and offer training in various spheres.

Responding, the spoke person of JONAPD stated that the group consisted of all persons living with disabilities in Enugu state noting that the group has been acknowledged internationally as the most vulnerable (economically, socially, and politically).

He further stated that a good number of JONAPD community have acquired skills but have no economic potential to accomplish their aspirations.

He pointed out that the government no longer solves mass problems but instead, they get solutions from the church, individuals, and cooperate bodies.

He however expressed JONAPD’s appreciation as the Divine Skyhope Foundation remembered them as members of the society as they thanked the founder of the foundation, Prince E. Magboh for his benevolence.
