FIFA congratulates Super Falcons after qualifying for 2023 World Cup

World football governing body, FIFA, has sent congratulatory message to the Super Falcons for qualifying for their ninth consecutive women’s World Cup.

The Falcons beat the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 in Thursday, July 14, quarter-final in Casablanca.

During the match, Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal after heading in Ifeoma Onumonu’s cross.

Nigeria will now face hosts Morocco in the semi-final on Monday, July 18.

FIFA wrote on Twitter:”Nine in a row. You absolutely love to see it.
