Naira scarcity: President Buhari meets Emefiele again in Abuja

As Nigerians continue to experience hardship in accessing the new Naira notes, President Buhari met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, at the State House, Abuja Monday, February 13.

Emefiele arrived at the villa around 1:00pm, shortly after the President returned from the Police Force Headquarters, where he had commissioned some patrol vehicles to be deployed for the upcoming elections earlier today.

After the meeting, Emefiele did not speak with journalists. The reason for the visit was not known as at the time of filing this report, however, it?s believed to be in connection to finding solution to the currency swap crisis.
