Ademola Lookman goes on strike at Atalanta amid Inter Milan pursuit

CAF player of the year, Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has reportedly gone on strike, declaring he will no longer play for the Serie A side.

The Nigerian international is said to have made his stance clear as Inter Milan prepares to submit a third bid for his services. Inter’s previous two offers were rejected, but the new bid is expected to be close to Atalanta’s asking price.

Sports journalist Buchi Laba revealed on X that Lookman is determined to join Inter Milan, while Atalanta prefers to sell him to clubs outside Italy.

Lookman’s refusal to feature for the club signals growing tension between player and management as the transfer window heats up.
