President Buhari decorates the new service chiefs

President Buhari today March 5 decorated the new service chiefs at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

In their new ranks, the service chiefs are General Lucky Irabor Chief of Defense Staff; Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru Chief of Army Staff; Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Chief of Naval Staff; and Air Marshal Ishiaka Oladayo Amoo Chief of Air Staff.

The decoration ceremony was witnessed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha; Defense Minister, Major-General Bashir Magashi (Rtd); the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari as well as the spouses of the service chiefs.

Meanwhile, the new Chief of Defense Staff, General Leo Irabor, who was decorated as a 4 Star General also pledged the loyalty of the armed forces and promised to lead by example.
