2023 Presidency: Obasanjo, Okorocha In Secret Meeting

Former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha has met with Olusegun Obasanjo even as details of the meeting have not been made public.

Okorocha met with former president in what observers think may not be unconnected to his 2023 presidential ambition.

Trumpeta learnt that it was more of a secret meeting between the two since newsmen were neither allowed in our communicated on the outcome.

It was even Okorocha who is representing Orlu Zone in the Senate that revealed his meeting with Obasanjo in a social media post.

According to Okorocha in his twitter handle during the week said it was important to consult Obasanjo with the aim of moving the nation forward.

He said “I Paid a courtesy visit to Fmr. President Olusegun Obasanjo today at the Obasanjo Library Abeokuta, Ogun State. We must consult our elder statesmen from time to time to move the nation forward”, he tweeted.

There was no further statement concerning the parley fueling suspicion it was a secret affair.
