May Day: NICOT President salutes workers, appeals Nigerian Government to be fully committed to workers welfare

The president of Nigerian Community Turkey, Prince Emre Magboh heartily felicitate with workers all over the world especially in Nigeria his home country and Turkey as they mark this year’s International workers day celebration.

The international business mogul stated this today 1st May, 2021, at his office in Perpa- Istanbul, Turkey where he noted that the workers day celebration as observed annually is a day set aside to encourage the tireless contributions of workers towards nation building, adding that appreciating their efforts will motivate them to be committed in doing their job efficiently.

The detribalized Nigerian who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Afaseh Group in Turkey, Bosphorus Hotels and Kings Steel doors in Nigeria urged workers to always adhere to safety measure in carrying out their day-to-day activities until the fight against the covid-19 is won.

While commenting on the plight of workers welfare and pension, Prince Magboh appealed the federal and state governments of Nigeria to review upward on workers’ salaries and ensure prompt payment of pensions so as to put to an end the incessant approach of protests by workers in the country.

He further advised Nigerian workers to always exhaust diplomatic options in pressing home their demand before resulting to protest as their relevance to work is for the benefit of Nigerians.
