Completesports.com provides an overview of each player’s performance in the 2-0 win.

MADUKA OKOYE 7/10
The Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper was virtually on holiday for the majority of the game. Okoye organised his defence with dexterity and distributed the ball well.

OLA AINA 7/10
A confident display from the versatile defender. He was never troubled and also supported the attack as well.

WILLIAM TROOST-EKONG 7/10
Organised the defence well and easily cut out the threats of the Liberian strikers. The centre-back got a befitting birthday present from his teammates.

LEON BALOGUN 7/10
Gave the ball away cheapily in the first half, otherwise it was a commanding performance from the Rangers defender.

JAMILU COLLINS 7/10
Shrugged off injury to earn a starting berth. The left-back put up an impressive performance in the game.

WILFRED NDIDI 7/10
Not one of his best performance for the Super Eagles but still did his job of shielding the defence well.

A livery performance from the midfielder. Had the chance to put the Super Eagles ahead early in the first half but failed to convert.

ALEX IWOBI 8/10
The Everton man bagged two assists in what was a very lively performance.

MOSES SIMON 6/10
The winger didn’t too much in the game. He was replaced by Samuel Kalu in the 77th minute.

KELECHI IHEANACHO 9/10
Bagged a brace for the Super Eagles in the game and could have scored one or two more. He was Nigeria’s top performer against the Liberians.

VICTOR OSIMHEN 6/10
ToIled hard to impress but it was not his day. Struggled to get going and was duly replaced by Paul Onuachu in the 77th minute.

SUBSTITUTES

Took the place of Victor Osimhen and never really threatened the opposition defence.

SAMUEL KALU 4/10
Came in for Moses Simon in the 77th minute. Didn’t too much following his introduction.

AHMED MUSA 3/10
Not enough time to prove his class following his introduction in the 83rd minute.
