EFCC charges Okorocha with N2.9 billion fraud

Former governor of Imo State and senator representing Imo west senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha has been charged with N2.9 billion fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

He is accused of conspiring with others, including an APC politician and five companies, to steal N2.9 billion from public coffers.

Okorocha who is being charged to court on a 17-count charge, will be arraigned alongside Anyim Nyerere Chinenye, Naphtali International Limited, Perfect Finish Multi Projects Limited, Consolid Projects Consulting Limited, Pramif International Limited, and Legend World Concepts Limited.
