INEC no longer keeping sensitive election materials at CBN

Chairman of the independent National Electoral commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, has said that sensitive election materials are no longer being kept at the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Mahmood said beginning from the Ekiti state Governorship election, INEC will not keep its sensitive materials with the CBN.

The INEC Chairman who disclosed this while responding to questions in an ongoing dialogue in Elections in Abuja, added that the decision is to guarantee that electoral materials for the lined up Elections are not compromised
