Doyin Okupe submits letter of withdrawal as Peter Obi’s running mate to INEC, says a replacement will be announced shortly

Doyin Okupe has announced that he has submitted a letter of withdrawal as Labour Party, Peter Obi’s running mate to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Okupe disclosed that a replacement will be announced shortly by the Chairman of Labour Party.

The Director-General of Peter Obi Campaign Organisation tweeted;

This afternoon I submitted my withdrawal letter from the position of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party to INEC.A replacement will be announced by d national chairman of d party shortly.I feel greatly blessed to hv been part of the foundation of success 4 the LP
