Easter Message By The President, Nigerian Community Turkey

…Don’t use politics to divide us

In absolute reverence to the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, as duly commemorated by Christians globally, every Easter, the President of the Nigerian Community, Turkey, Prince E. Magboh has extended his Felicitations to all Christians and charged them with Christ-like attributes.

In his 2023 Easter message, he rejoices with all Nigerians, especially the Christian brethren on the glorious 2023 Easter celebrations.

The President of NICOT after attending an Easter service in Istanbul – Turkey on Easter Sunday went on to say, ‘Easter is the most important feast in the Christendom calendar and represents God’s redemptive mission over humanity, the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair and good over evil’.

He further stated that the Christian festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ is to emulate the virtues of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, humility, courage, and endurance, which Christ embodied and remarkably demonstrated during His earthly ministry.

Prince Magboh retreats on all to use the auspicious season to show love to neighbors and cater to the needs of the less privileged in society.

He posited that Nigeria as a nation is currently gripped with gloom over post-electioneering events and its mishap, which he said, should not be. Rather, the people should reinforce the bond of brotherhood as Nigerians.

The President of the community enjoined all Nigerians not to allow the few bad elements in the nation to put asunder to communal tendencies and chords of unity.

“I know from my regular interactions with my countrymen that Nigerians are united against the evil minority who use politics to divide us”.

“On this holy occasion, I enjoin all Nigerians to intensify prayers for peace and security to return our country, I urge you not to lose hope of a brighter and greater future for the country when we do the right things in love”. “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning”. He submitted.

While reiterating his commitment to the executives and members of the Nigerian Community Turkey, Prince Magboh maintained that his obligation to the community is to continue to provide dedicated and honest leadership, for every Nigerian irrespective of religion or ethnic origin.

“Once more, I wish all our Christian brothers and sisters in Nigeria and around the world celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a Happy Easter”, the servant Leader Magboh enthused.
